A Message From the Director of Education

Tansi and welcome to another exciting school year at Kakiswiew school. On behalf of our education committee - headwoman Petra Belanger, Rhonda Still, Bailey George, Lyndon Watson, Lucille Bear, Percy Isaac and myself, we want to wish all staff and students an excellent learning experience. Ochapowace prides itself on being a leader in all areas of education. We have excellent opportunities for our staff and students including land based learning, language and culture, volleyball, hockey and baseball academies, single grade / small classroom sizes to promote and recognize all learning styles as well as  competitive wages for our employees. 

Covid 19 has presented some difficulties for our education entities but that will not stop learning. Plans have been made for all students to be accommodated safely whichever plan they choose - at school or online.
